This regimental color was carried by the veterans of the 11th Cavalry in the 1866 Flag presentation ceremony. No other documentation as to its use has been found. This regiment was nicknamed "Harian's Light Cavalry" and was organized in the fall of 1861. They were mustered out of service in August 1865.
